testcard k

Despite the fact that the BBC hold joint copyright on the most famous testcard - Testcard F (now converted to J and W) with BREMA - the commercial television association, they wouldn't allow use of it for commercial channel testing, so I therefore decided to create my own.

Certain people at the Beeb got a bit snotty about it when the saw it broadcast, as I had labelled it "K", but this was to clearly identify that is wasn't an existing testcard, as that letter had not previously been used by the BBC or any other testcard creators. So here is Testcard K in it's original 4:3 version and converted to both 1080 and anamorphic 1080. At present no widescreen standard definition is available.

Testcard K remains copyright, but I grant a free licence for personal use. If you would like the testcard for broadcasting purposes please contact me.
